I doubt anything of that nature will be happening here but just in case I would like to mention I will not ship the Creeper with female/fem aligned characters and I will not accept any argument or debate about this as the Creeper very heavily prioritizes/prefers men and that is a canon fact. That being said nothing sexual will ever be happening here because lmao no.

👁️ Furthermore I consider my take on the Creeper to be VERY headcanon focused, taking loose inspo from what small, vague canon has been given about the creature and building upon it myself. I’ve watched the movies and I am AWARE of the comic. I’m further pretty well researched on most facts about the movies and the Creeper’s conception/creation. As a child I owned the DVDs which contained special features that went into these things.

OVERVIEW :
The Creeper is an inhuman entity / superhuman being who’s “origins” remain largely unknown, shrouded only in myth and speculation. What is known about the creature however is that it has existed seemingly for as long as mankind has walked the Earth, potentially even longer. It is a tall, muscular, humanoid monster with scaly green skin and needle-like teeth. It also possesses enormous bat-like wings upon its back likening it to a dragon and giving it the ability of flight. The Creeper must hibernate for 23 years and is only active for 23 days during spring time. When its ‘time’ is up, the Creeper’s body shuts down, thrusting it into a death-like state.
The Creeper itself is mischievous and highly intelligent. It gains a sense of amusement in frightening human beings who cross its path. It is shown employing many methods of doing so, among them posing as a scarecrow or by engaging them in high-speed pursuits with its truck. The Creeper however is not a benevolent creature. It is driven by an all consuming desire to assimilate human limbs and organs to sustain its own. As a result it is believed that the Creeper is almost entirely indestructible, as it can simply replace any damaged body part or organ with another.
This terrible urge is something The Creeper cannot ignore and the creature has been shown to become increasingly monstrous and erratic in pursuit of “food” during the end of its activity period. The Creeper is able to determine what it needs to take from its victims through their fear, having developed an adapt sense of smell that's “accuracy” is increased when the prey is afraid.
It has also been known to kill indiscriminately when chasing prey, whether to ignite fear within the humans it “likes” or to simply remove obstacles. It could be said that outside of the creatures mischief, it is in fact very private and weary of humans, going to great lengths to hunt and kill any it believes to have invaded this sense of “privacy” or caused it offence. ( The latter seen when the Creeper hunted a teen for urinating on its truck ).
WRITERS NOTES :
The Creeper is entirely supernatural in origin as per my headcanon. It doesn’t have a special ‘species’ outside of “god” or “demon” and I don’t tend to view it as some kind of “cursed” human. Some could argue that its purpose in life is to prey on humans, presumably managing their numbers, making it simply a natural predator to the human species.
The Creeper was furthermore worshipped as a god during ancient times. It is possible that Creeper and the god of Mesoamerican cultures known as “Quetzalcoatl/Kukulkan/Q'uq'umatz/Tohil/Tojil” are one in the same. There are in fact many similarities with the Creeper and this god, otherwise known as the “feathered serpent”. Its also possible that the Creeper is “responsible” ( IN AN ENTIRELY FICTIONAL SENSE ) for other myths and legends in human culture.
During ancient times it appears as though the Creeper had a closer relationship with human-kind, who feared it less and instead routinely offered it human sacrifices to feed upon, thus its possible that the Creepers relationship with these civilisations was “harmonious” and/or “mutually beneficial.” Its possible that this ultimately changed with the rise of Christianity and the death of these old cultures, causing the Creeper to become “paranoid”, overly protective of itself and its “secrets.” Its possible the Creeper feels a sense of “betrayal” and anger toward mankind for this.
The Creeper is at its most “human-like” or “relaxed” during the middle of it’s activity period. During this time it takes time out to enjoy itself, simply toying with humans for ‘fun’ and partaking in more casual and creative endeavours. These include crafting weapons and modifying it’s infamous “Creeper truck.” The Creeper at large seems to be a very creative individual, engineering many traps as ‘security’ measures. It is also rather artistic, able to carve imagery into its belongings and has been shown to possess a love of music and a dark sense of humour.
The Creeper can indeed understand and speak human language though it largely chooses not to. I actually intend to portray the Creeper as largely mute, only speaking on rare occasions if ever. This is something I personally really enjoy about the character and I think has always added to the ‘fear factor’ of the Creeper. Its an uncanny mix up of beast and certainly higher intelligence. Typically the Creeper’s sounds include: chattering, sniffing, snarling, “gulping”, growling and shrieking/roaring. It is also known to whistle and hum tunes when content.
It is possible that the Creeper is able to bestow abilities upon humans. In particular it seems to be able to “awaken” some form of psychic powers within others and also seems to possess a form of psychic or supernatural power itself. It is said to have a deep, psychic connection with its victims and shown to be able to interfere with human technology, jamming the signals of phones and apparently impeding the function of motors. Its presence has caused functioning windmills to screech to a perfect halt.
I portray the Creeper as ultimately ‘genderless’ but masc presenting / aligned. The Creeper has a well noted, heavy canon preference for men / masc / male aligned folk and that will be demonstrated and adhered to here. That said, I am not interested in portraying the Creeper as a sexual creature so no monster porn, sorry.
